This message typically happens when tools.jar is not in the classpath. ! tools.jar is set in the launch script, it is located at %JAVA_HOME% ! \lib\tools.jar and will not be in the system classpath if...it does not exist. ! ! Could you please check that your environment is OK ? ! ! I'm setting the resolution as 'fixed' since we are about 30 developers to use ! JDK 1.3.1 in my company and I'm using it also at home...
