http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=4583 ant.bat does not put .zip files into classpath ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2001-11-11 01:32 ------- I'm not sure this is a good idea. It's better to avoid it for good and not relies on it anymore. The only way to not support this for instance is to not implement it. AFAIK Oracle is the only one to redistribute their binaries as .zip which is unfortunate since it does not have any manifest information and will confuse people trying to deploy their webapp under Tomcat since it only picks up .jar files in WEB-INF/lib. zip files are not picked up. The best thing to do is to rename your .zip into a .jar so that it is commonly accepted without problems everywhere and to anticipate when Oracle will decide to ship there drivers as .jar. (It also makes a clear distinction between what's real zip archives or not but that's another problem) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For additional commands, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
