ahh ... I am not sure insulting people is good practice if you want them to do things on a volunteer basis. I can understand that you are bitter but it is best to keep this out of the mailing list. If you look the statement you responded to "if you want ant-dev to behave like that then stop complaing and start doing" then you will see that it has an if precondition... Personally I don't think ant-dev is broken - it has always been this way and will continue to be this way with the ant1.x strain. I don't think any amount of doing will fix it due to the centralized control structures. The way I think it will be fixed is via breaking things down into separate projects and giving more power to people outside ant-dev - which is precisely what I am doing at the moment via Ant2. Hopefully by the end of this month we will have all the ant1.x projects building and then by June we may be ready for an alpha release if all goes well. -- Cheers, Pete ------------------------------------------------------- "When we remember we are all mad, the mysteries of life disappear and life stands explained." -Mark Twain ------------------------------------------------------- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For additional commands, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
