in my
build.xml
<target
name="clean">
<delete dir="${deploy.home}"/>
<delete>
<fileset dir="." includes="**/*.*~"/>
</delete>
</target>
<delete dir="${deploy.home}"/>
<delete>
<fileset dir="." includes="**/*.*~"/>
</delete>
</target>
the tilde ('~')
appears to have some special meaning for ant - it gets
ignored
I have VIM backup
files all throughout the src dirs - I'd like them to be deleted on
an
Ant clean
command. The backup files have a format of *.*~ (ie
somefile.jsp~).
The above delete
command doesn't work.
I also tried
"**/*.*\~" ie escaping the ~
