WASHINGTON, January 9 (Xinhuanet) -- A
U.S. Military KC-130 refueling plane crashed on Wednesday near the
southwestern Pakistan city of Quetta, Pentagon officials
said. U.S. Central Command, which is responsible for U.S.
military operations in Pakistan and the surrounding region, said in a
brief statement that the refueling plane with seven Marines on board
crashed as it was making its landing approach at a base in Shamsi
in southwestern Pakistan. The statement did not
mention whether there were survivors. Pentagon officials
said there is no indication of enemy fire. Eyewitnesses said the plane
