Every day for the past several days there have been actions. For example, there was a strong demonstration at the Israeli Consulate last week (with a pro-Israeli crowd trying to counter it across the street). Tuesday, students protested on the University of California Campus at Berkeley, occupying the administration building---79 were arrested. "Over 2000 students marched at San Francisco State University---taking over a main street which is highway 1. (This was part of nationwide student actions) Last Sunday several hundred took part in a living billboard along that same street in an action called by Arab Christians, joined by many non-Arab participants. Tomorrow another protest will be held at the Israeli consulate called by a coalition of groups. Tremendous momentum is building for the marches on April 20th in Washington D.C. and in San Francisco. Buses are being organized from long distances for people to join these demonstrations. (Actions will also take place in other cities and towns.
