US soldiers beat up African man in south German racial
attack
Berlin, April 29, IRNA (Iran) -- Four drunk US
soldiers beat up midnight Saturday an African man in
an apparent racial attack in the south
German city of Wuerzburg, injuring the victim, the
press reported here.
The unidentified African suffered multiple bruises and
lost a tooth in the the assault as the US soldiers,
all of them 26-years-old, hit him with their fists and
feet.
The victim was chased by the military men as he tried
to pass them by.
Police suspect racial motives for the attack, citing
the victim's African background.
German police handed over the four suspects to the US
military
police unit in Wuerzburg.
