Yes. But then that is intended for 3 anyway. As I said though, when you
are finished with v3 changes in that branch, perforce is smart enough to
bring them back to the main branch. You would do this if the v3 stuff made
sense for the v4 branch and in many cases it will. Using the perforce GUI,
that is a trivial thing to do and you can create a branch spec for your
runtime so you don't have to remember how to do it.
