Curious whether such a thing exists. We use the Linux aoe kernel module
extensively, but there are situations in which a driver in user space
could help work around some of the shortcomings of the kernel module.
It would probably be more portable as well.
Does a user-mode driver exist in a source tree anywhere? Has anyone
thought about or starting working on such a project?
