It's similar, but the $r output is useful at a glance -- I guess I could
have asked for the same info out of gdb, but I find gdb for threaded
apps under Solaris to be ... well ... lacking.

Hmmm ... did you just apply a new clusterpatch?  This is AS3.3+ad13 on
Solaris 2.8, right?  What's uname -a say?
