Yes, probably.  Although since the error is so infrequent I can't say
for sure what even might have first exposed it.

Interesting, I wasn't aware that compiling on a system with a
different Solaris patch level might introduce problems.  Is there any
way to retrieve that info out of compiled Solaris binaries?
