Someday, I'd like to be able to call AOLserver on Win32 "production quality" again, and to that end, I think it's safest to use the Microsoft compilers. What bugs me most is that Open Watcom has to maintain their own Win32 API headers and libraries, but still link against Microsoft's MSVCRT.DLL -- if Microsoft makes a change, will the Open Watcom compiler keep up? Plus, Microsoft is making great progress in changing its culture towards a more open and free model and I think that's great. On top of that, there's some (perhaps misplaced) hope on my part that Microsoft's compiler will be around long after people have forgotten about the Open Watcom compiler. -- Dossy -- Dossy Shiobara mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Panoptic Computer Network web: http://www.panoptic.com/ "He realized the fastest way to change is to laugh at your own folly -- then you can let go and quickly move on."
