Since Janine is running AOLserver 3.3 (presumably 3.3+ad13 or the like), it is about 99.9% certain that she is running Tcl 8.3.2 with it, since that's the version that shipped with 3.3, and is the only version that works. In theory it would be possible to make AOLserver 3.3 use a different version of Tcl, but AFAIK no one has ever done so. (I tried once long agao and failed.) (And of course you know all that, Dossy, even if you forgot momentarily, but maybe some other folks here don't.) Janine, one obvious thing to try is, for your AOLserver 4.x, upgrade from Tcl 8.4.6 to the latest stable version, which I think is currently 8.4.9.
