This is a good point.  I've noted to the AOLserver guys before that it could
be rearchitected into something much leaner, meaner and more flexible.  It
still has too many remnants of Tcl 7.x architecture days.  You could have it
run off a USB key as a single-file executable with an SQLite db now if you
modified things a bit.
