Dossy,

Thanks! The problem now is getting MSVC. Is there a free command line tool
somewhere for nmake? I think I have the last one prior to .NET, but a free
one would be useful to document and maybe faster to install.

Otherwise, I've made Tcl with the MinGW/MSYS, and could go on to AOLserver,
but I was interested in a native install if possible.

Any hints on what problems I might have with MinGW/MSYS?

Thanks for any input, I'll document this if I can get it setup.
