Absolutely not! Only if you want to use OpenACS functionality. Our site
started by using ACS (OpenACS's predecessor) as a foundation and a
jumping-off point to learn from - we picked only the parts we needed from
ACS, primarily infrastructure management (security, user registrations,
shared functions, etc.) and added much more of our own using tcl scripts.
Only about 5% of the current site came from ACS.

Hi Everyone,

Is it necessary to install OpenACS along with AoLserver?
