The following reply was made to PR os-windows/4124; it has been noted by GNATS.
From: "Doug Wyatt" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Cc: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: os-windows/4124: can't handle "./" in SSI; removing the "./" gets around the problem Date: Thu, 25 Mar 1999 14:48:13 -0600 The SSI directive is: <!--#include file="./motd"--> The .shtml file containing the directive and the target file are in the same (htdocs) directory. This setup works okay on Apache 1.2 running on HP-UX 10.20, but when I copied our Intranet structure to my home (NT4) PC for my convenience in updating it after installing 1.3.6, I ran across this problem. On the HP, motd is actually a symlink to /etc/motd, but on the PC it's just a text file. I'll be updating the HP-UX Apache installation, soon, so I can see if this problem exists in the newer version on the HP. ~~~~~~ > Date sent: 25 Mar 1999 15:33:08 -0000 > To: apache-bugdb@apache.org, [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL > PROTECTED] > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: Re: os-windows/4124: can't handle "./" in SSI; removing > the "./" gets around the problem > [In order for any reply to be added to the PR database, ] > [you need to include <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> in the Cc line ] > [and leave the subject line UNCHANGED.
