That's an error in the 2.0 docs. The true default (I just checked the code) is conf/mime.types. Which brings up an issue that OtherBill pointed out to me the other day, but I haven't added to STATUS yet: The mod_mime docs in 2.0 are way out of date. They need to be synched with the 1.3 docs.
