Both DefaultEncoding and DefaultCharset are 'unspecified'. That is, the DefaultEncoding is none, and HTTP/1.1 defines the DefaultCharset as ISO-8859-1 unless otherwise given. You must have a DefaultType, or the client doesn't know what's up.
