Greetings, I think I'm having the same problem. owsadm.exe crashes on Redhat 9.0 when trying to bind the administration to any port higher than 1023. If I try the command w/ a port lowert than 1023 I get a "The port must be a number between 1023 and 32767." but as soon as I try and make the port higher than 1023 it says Segmentation fault.
There must be some incompatibilities w/ owsadm.exe and Redhat 9. I tried Microsoft's Stock install, fp_install.sh and encountered the same problem, so it's not this rpm, owsadm.exe just hates Redhat 9. I think I'm just going to downgrade to Redhat 7.3 as it seems a lot of packages/rpm's I want to install are for that distro version, ie "SunOne ChilliSoft! ASP" for ASP support in Linux. It was designed for Redhat 7.3 Sucks though, using an older/outdated box, outdated modules/libraries/etc. but my web developer wants support for Frontpage/ASP/ColdFusion/SQL/etc. so I'll give it to him, even if the box will be hacked in less than a week, heh.
