I was just wondering what you RedHat people were going to do when RedHat
drops support of everything up to 9.0 at the end of this year? It drops 9.0
on 4-1. While I have never needed RedHat support, I do load their security
updates. I can't see staying with a version of RedHat that won't be patched
for security updates.
This is why I am releasing updated RPMS. My new RPMS should hopefully work happily even on Red Hat 9.0 and beyond, and make it easier for me to make them very compatible.
My only problem I see is that I'm dependent on the Red Hat 7.3 tree for security updates to my RPMS. Red Hat 8 and 9 are on Apache2. However if I can get these DSO Apache RPMS working well for everyone then jumping to Apache2 should be cake.
