You seem to be the only one out there that knows anything
about setting up Frontpage extentions on Fedora. I am desperate for
help. I have read all of the threads and can't seem to get it to
install. Near the end of the installation I get the error:
"ERROR: '80'server is not a valid virtual server"
I have tried changing the settings in http.conf
to:
Listen *:80
Listen 0.0.0.0:80
and
Listen 192.168.1.3:80
I have tried:
ServerName abydos
ServerName abydos:80
ServerName StarGate.abydos.com:80
and
ServerName StarGate.abydos.com
I am not running DNS on the server so I have a host file with all of the
above looking at 127.0.0.1 & 192.160.1.3
Help!
I am almost thinking that the installation is working it is the ROOT web
that is the problem. How do I check that?
Is there a bug in fp_install.sh? Should I run the commands manually
from the Frontpage Directory?
What do I do?
