After scratching my head for a while.. I searched the Internet and someone posted to change the /var/log/httpd directory to 755 and poof.. that fixed the problem. Okay, I have no idea how that fixed it.. But I can't argue!..  Yuh got to love Google search..

Well, I should have known better.. I took a perfectly good working FP  running on RHEL and did the up2date and now none of the frontpage features work. I always get

(13)Permission denied: unable to connect to cgi daemon after multiple tries: /usr/local/frontpage/version5.0/apache-fp/_vti_bin/fpexe

Anyone have any ideas?

Subject: [Apache-FP] up2date

Hey,

Is there any reason why I shouldn’t run up2date to update everything ? Even the kernel and apache ?

I don’t want to break my FPSE install by doing it, so is there a package I shouldn’t update?

Thanks,

Bryan
