These are the instructions I've used on 3 Mandrake 10 boxes, and they work flawlessly. The biggest hassle is making sure that all the virtual host sections are moved to the httpd2.conf instead of using the includes as Mandrake does by default. The rest of the includes that are loaded from the /etc/httpd/conf.d folder work fine (mod_ssl takes some tweaking if you have named virtual hosts). I have had no problems with MySQL or PHP whatsoever.

http://www.newwebsite.com/mandrake.html Follow the instructions exactly. I have to follow them myself every time I set up a new machine and I wrote them. These instructions work for Mandrake 9 and 10. Any problems, email me.
