Hi,

Check that : http://ape.localape:6969/ hit the APE server.
Be sure that you have configured your /etc/hosts with the corresponding
host.

Btw, you can use : http://local.ape-project.org/ (if you are working with
an Internet connection) that point to 127.0.0.1
