I would only mirror the wiki as a last resort, especially since creating a proper mirror without a Mediawiki XML dump would be a very painful and tedious process.
Has anyone been able to contact a project dev? I filed a bug report, posted here in the forum, and emailed them using the site's contact form, but I haven't gotten any response. If one of them could simply install a captcha and delete the spam acounts, then we could start cleaning it up, or if they could provide an XML dump then someone could easily setup a mirror.
