A shame there has been no reply to this, yet... I really appreciate the effort you put into keeping APE alive, I was trying to do it myself some time ago but canot spare the time right now.
I would support a move away from the cumbersome JSF (it acutallly is the dreadful thing implementing the *.domain.com thing which creates oneof the biggest challenges for new users) As we most likely will not see any official APE2 from Anthony and the vanilla JSF2 in the near future, I support the steps you recommend Cheers Peter (Side node myself: I tried to recreate some APE functinality in my own nodejs project that I used as a replacement for the always crashing APE, re-implementing something like inline push.
