Yes, and we need to have both tasks be specific. For the translation task, we need people who read the target language well enough to verify that it's more or less sane -- not a machine translation, essentially, but also that it's written (relatively) correctly. For working through it, we should probably focus on languages that we have nothing for; it should be a complement to the 'document existing resources' and 'convert existing resources' tasks. We can add further tasks if we run out, but for now, we need to have roughly 50% of the ideas we /think/ we will have for the whole programme for the start. -- <Leftmost> jimregan, that's because deep inside you, you are evil. <Leftmost> Also not-so-deep inside you. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Nokia and AT&T present the 2010 Calling All Innovators-North America contest Create new apps & games for the Nokia N8 for consumers in U.S. and Canada $10 million total in prizes - $4M cash, 500 devices, nearly $6M in marketing Develop with Nokia Qt SDK, Web Runtime, or Java and Publish to Ovi Store http://p.sf.net/sfu/nokia-dev2dev _______________________________________________ Apertium-stuff mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/apertium-stuff
