Hi, My name is Paula Mazur and I'm interested in one of proposed project ideas - adopting new language pair. I was thinking about Polish - English pair, as it seems not to exist yet in your database and I'm Polish native speaker :)
So a few words about myself... I'm 4th year student at Edinburgh University doing AI and Computer Science. Throughout my studies I become very interested in MT and NLP. I am very familiar with Python, as it is my strongest programming language. Moreover, recently I implemented IBM model 1 in Python for language pair German-English (using Europarl Corpus). I also have basic knowledge of XML and I love learning new things. Do you think I would be suitable for the project?
