Hi,
In my opinion, the most sensible way to quickly fix the translation
da-sv is to run a voctest and fix the errors. I plan to first check for
internal consistency to find the most blatant errors to fix. Later I
plan to test on some text (might be useful to find out if any tranfer
rules would be needed, too).

Unfortunately, I haven't managed to adjust the simple script at
http://wiki.apertium.org/wiki/Testvoc for my needs. I'm stuck at the
error message:

Error: can't stat file
'/home/per/Repository/apertium-sv-da/apertum-sv-da.sv-da.t1x'

As I cannot fully understand the code, I'm not sure if the offending
file is expected to be present in the apertium-sv-da from the beginning,
or if it is expected to be created by running the script. I've looked
for the file, but haven't found it anywhere. Anyhow, I end up with empty
after-transfer.txt and after-generation.txt files.

I've tried lt-expand ${MONODIX} and it works. I've tested to run
lt-expand ${MONODIX} > start.txt and then

apertium -d /home/per/Repository/apertium-sv-da sv-da start.txt ut.txt

This results in a large file that needs some after processing for
extracting the offending lines, containing error symbols.

What exactly is the script in the wiki supposed to do? Why that
alphabet?

Yours,
Per Tunedal

PS As the direction Swedish to Danish is considered of release quality,
I don't see any urgent need to add new words to the dictionaries.
