Hi,
The other day, my daughter complained about the subjunctives in Spanish.
I told her that, actually, we've got it in Swedish as well. But only in
a few contexts. But in those it would be very disturbing not to use it,
in my opinion.

That led me to try it in Apertium on the pair sv-da, with a
disappointing result (see the words "vore" and "leve"):

echo "Den som kapade järnröret 5 cm för högt upp, skulle jag gärna vilja
ge en dansk skalle. Om det inte vore för att jag hade bandage i pannan.
Leve konungen! Den som ändå vore rik." | apertium -d
/home/per/Repository/apertium-sv-da sv-da

ger:

Den som kaprede *järnröret 5 cm før *högt op, skulle jeg *gärna ville
give en dansk *skalle. Om det ikke *vore før at jeg havde *bandage i
panden. *Leve kongen! Den som altså *vore rig.

I don't know anything about subjunctive in Danish. Any hints on how to
proceed with this?

BTW I like this feature in Swedish and would like to preserve it. I
believe it's an endangered species.
