Bernard, you are totally right, I'm not very 'understandable' for people
not speaking Esperanto: I'm speaking fast, I eat the word endings, etc.
etc.

I think of Esperanto as a language speakable in two 'modes':

The 'for beginners' mode where you prefer words and phrasings that are
relatively easily understandable for non-Esperanto speakers and beginnders.

The 'pro' mode where you to a certain degree either speak your mother
tounge 'thru' Esperanto (i.e. expresses yourself freely) and uses the
strengths of the language and its flexibility.

I was certaintly in the 'pro' mode here, nervous and unaware of the
possibility that this would be viewed by non Esperanto speakers. In
addition I'm not good at languages in general (Francis could confirm that
WRT English :-) and my pronounciation is terrible and sluggish in all
languages, inclusive Danish :-).

Thanks for info.

For info: I didnt choose the hosting (Vimeo) or the video format.
It was probably implicitly chosen by UEA (Universala Esperanto-Asocio) when
the chose to host their video stuff at http://vimeo.com/uea
