Hi, If the idea is to make a translator for zh_ZH-zh_TW, then you should check out the "read more" page for "adopt a language pair": http://wiki.apertium.org/wiki/Ideas_for_Google_Summer_of_Code/Adopt_a_language_pair It has a coding challenge, and also a list of questions which you should try and respond to: (a) Are there existing machine translation (MT) systems for this pair? (b) If there are existing systems, how good are they? -- Could you do better in three months? (c) How closely related is the pair? (d) How many resources already exist for the pair? (e) Are there any mentors who can evaluate your work?
