I might not be the only one that doesent know what (dis)advantages of a PPA
is compared to getting into the central Debian repository.
Obviously it would be best to get fresh Apertium versions into the central
Debian repository, no?
Is a PPA a stepping stone to get into the central Debian repository?
We once had someone that updated Debian, but he disappeared years ago.
Sometimes he was on the chat and I begged him on his knees to update the
Debian packages, but nothing happened.
Is the central Debian repository a dead dinosaur which is impossible to
update? Why?
