Hey there!

There is an icelandic-russian dictionary already in SVN:

https://svn.code.sf.net/p/apertium/svn/incubator/apertium-isl-rus/apertium-isl-rus.isl-rus.dix

Feel free to add to it. Note that we (Apertium) will need to think about
how to translate to/from a language with verbal aspect (Russian),
from/to one without (Icelandic)... The whole

  að hringja -> звонить, позвонить

thing.

Jim wrote something about this before I think for English->Polish, but
we should probably discuss it again.

As a starting point I don't think that it should really be done in
lexical selection. I also don't think that perfective verbs should have
the lemma of imperfectives, e.g. звонить = звонить<vblex><impf><inf>;
позвонить = звонить<vblex><perf><inf> is a bad idea.
