Hi,
I am working on English-Telugu language pair. I had added few words in the
bilingual dictionary and lexc files. When I run
echo "where is x" | apertium -d . eng-tel
I get #ఎక్కడ @be #ఎక్స్ @
Here, where and x are getting translated successfully. I understand that
"is" belongs to a paradigm whose root is "be". Even though I add "<e
r="LR"><p><l>be<s n="vbser"/><s n="nt"/></l><r>ఉండు<s n="v"/><s
n="nt"/></r></p></e>" entry in the bidix, why is "be" not getting
translated?
Regards,
K.Prathyusha.
