Dear Apertiumers, This message is a personal (not presidential) message.
I am sure you know that the Russian authorities now in control of Crimea have forced the closure of ATR the only Crimean Tatar TV station there, through bureaucratic impediments and delays [1]. Crimean Tatar (crh) is a Turkic language that has been in Apertium's focus for a while. I just want to express and share my regret and repulse for such an action, as it is also an attack on a small language and a form of language genocide. Best, Mikel [1] http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-32145218 -- Mikel L.
