Absolutely, but be mindful that it's not meant for single words - it's
meant for whole paragraphs or even whole articles.

Converting between the formats can be done by instrumenting LibreOffice's
headless binaries. Copying to clipboard...just hit ctrl-c?

You can "easily" integrate with the OS-wide text-to-speech services.
https://wiki.qt.io/QtSpeech has some notes about it, don't know if anyone
made a finished module for it yet.
