There are two possibilities:
1) you could mark them in CG, e.g.
SUBSTITUTE ("mango") ("mango¹") (0* MangoWords);
SUBSTITUTE ("mango") ("mango²") (0* ManecWords);
Then in the bidix you would have:
<e><p><l>mango¹<s n="n"/></l><r>mango<s n="n"/></r></p></e>
<e><p><l>mango²<s n="n"/></l><r>mànec<s n="n"/></r></p></e>
Ok. Thanks.
In the first possibility the disambiguation would be used in every
language pair with Spanish. To keep the compatibility with the current
dictionaries I would do just:
SUBSTITUTE ("mango") ("mango¹") (0* MangoWords);
<e><p><l>mango<s n="n"/></l><r>mànec<s n="n"/></r></p></e>
[English: handle; French: manche; Portuguese: cabo...; but Italian has
mango]
<e><p><l>mango¹<s n="n"/></l><r>mango<s n="n"/></r></p></e> [This
line could be added optionally to other bilingual dictionaries]
The other, more Apertium/CG way of doing it (and avoiding the use of
SUBSTITUTE, which
is not good to use) would be just to add
<e lm="mango¹"><p><l>mango</l><r>mango¹</r></p><par
n="..."/></r></p></e>
to the spa dictionary and then use SELECT/REMOVE rules.
