thanks for sharing this resource.
I took a quick look to the dictionaries and I have some comments and
doubts:
- spelling, the word "jabon" is really like that pronounced /'jabon/ or
is it a misspelling of "jabón" that became popular? Same doubt with
"mongolico" (is it /mongo'lico/ or /mon'golico/? Same with "pa" instead of
"para". Who can I contact to address this doubts?
- there are some words that already were in the monolingual
dictionaries, you don't need to define them twice, these should be removed
(we can do it, just to avoid it in the future)
- I also have doubts with gender for some words (and there is still work
to be done for some bilingual entries concerning it like in ami=so -- so
being mf and ami m and f, or ami=pez -- pez being only masculine and ami m
and f -- and is pez only masculine in this sense of the word?), or is
"levante" a noun fememine?.
- all entries are included RL in the bilingual dictionary meaning only
Spanish to French. For new words, there should be no problem, but there are
very common words like "mercado=partie intime" or "lento=idiot" or
"levantar= séduire" for which we need to chose one single translation, the
most frequent one, so, these cannot be included. The only way would be
through multiple word units, very frequent expressions containing these
words.
- some entries will introduce additional ambiguity (lámpara = adj, lobo =
adj), we need to see if some introduce problems for very frequent words
- all the vocabulary seems familiar register, probably the one found in
subtitles and probably impossible to find in printed or online
dictionaries, but, do you have any reference you are following?
There is work to be done before we can add this to the main repo, but what
you are doing is very interesting, so, go ahead!
