Hi,
I've been working on the coding challenge for anaphora resolution, and I
have studied the current system in Apertium and have ideas as to how to
make it better.

I know a fully functioning language independent anaphora system is
impossible to build in three months, but a significantly better system can
be built and will help the fluency of the output a lot. If this system is
language independent then it will benefit all language pairs, or at least
those which need anaphora resolution (most do, as far as I know).

I would like to know if the mentors agree that it is possible to make a
significant improvement to the system in three months. I ask this because I
came across an email which says that you're not sure if it can be done in
three months. If it seems doubtful to the mentors that it can be completed
as a GSoC project I can always direct my energy towards a different project
as I would really like to contribute to Apertium this summer.

Please advise.

Thanks and Regards,
Tanmai Khanna
