 Everyone, all right?
I'm with my student Vinicius, who submitted the proposal to GSOC by setting
DixTools to create an API that supports the web environment.
1) DixTools has several years that is not updated, it is still an active
project or has been replaced. Is it interesting to use it as part of the
solution?
2) There was a change from the repository to GitHub, which has reasonable
differences to the old SVN. In the proposal is being mentioned GitLab that has
more management tools than GitHub. It is not a substitution.
3) In the current proposal the Api BackEnd will be done with Java / SpringBoot
and XML and Postgres and the FrontEnd with Angular. Are there any objections
about these technologies?
4) An interesting part is that part of the functionality of the "Python API /
library for Apertium" idea can be contemplated in this project. The only thing
is that the API would be done in Java, but I do not know if this is a problem.
5) Some mentor is interested in talking directly on the subject, I become
available to be a local mentor of Vinicius in Brazil.
Thanks
