You may try to find out how "I love you" is translated into Spanish. For beginners (and not only), I strongly recommend to use apertium-viewer ( http://wiki.apertium.org/wiki/Apertium-viewer ). This is a tool that helps A LOT to understand the transformations done at every step of the Apertium pipe, i.a. in the chunker. Hèctor
