Hi, I am Gary, a university student, and I am currently applying to your Google Summer of Code program. I have a few questions regarding project ideas for Apertium.
So I am interested in working with Mandarin Chinese, but I saw that Apertium currently has only two language pairs involving Chinese, both in incubator. The "ideas" page also does not mention Chinese at all. Therefore, I was wondering if there are any projects relating to Mandarin Chinese that I may be able to work on? I would definitely be interested in creating/adopting a language pair, but anything else that contributes to the creation of language pairs involving Chinese would be great too. For information, I am a native Mandarin speaker and I am proficient in English. Many thanks, Gary.
