Thanks for your proposal, Alex. General comment is that you should structure your project around substantive user-facing features rather than a collection of minor improvements.
Also, if you're truly interested in porting the interface to a more modern UI framework, that should happen way earlier, before you put tons of effort into improving the UI's quality. Assorted small comments: > Week 7: Fix the alignment of translated text + the cancel/clear button bug This shouldn't take a whole week. By week 7 I would hope it's half a day of work at most. > Week 5: Fixing the filenames of manually downloaded files, Add cancel button for translating on mobile This also shouldn't take a whole week. > Week 4: Go through Good First Issues and try to fix all of them This is the shape of something to do during the pre-GSoC period, not during it. > Week 3: Try to add Romanian language for English This definitely shouldn't take a week - translating to a language you're fluent in should only be a couple of hours at the most. -- Sushain On Sat, Apr 3, 2021 at 12:24 PM Alex Marginean <alexmarginea...@gmail.com> wrote: > Hey, > > I'm Alex and I'm interested in participating at GSoC this summer.
