Whoever is/was in charge of this process hired Obama's campaign team to redistrict Arizona! The way it stands with the new districts thus far, Southern Arizona is unwinnable for Conservatives/Republicans. I can't believe this is happening! In 2010 the Republicans swept the AZ House and Senate and all Executive offices only to have a partisan hack make the state more liberal! The redistricting meetings are still going on. Both CDs have Dems in them now. They gave Rep. Grijalva exactly what he wanted...and it doesn't help old CD 8 or CD 2 Giffords area much from Republican standpoint since they put a lot of NW Pima a Rep. area in CD 1.
