Other meetings scheduled: Wed, October 5th 2 PM Fiesta Resort - Galleria Ballroom; 2100 S. See the email below which I just received. I suggest you first contact your AZ reps; then go to the rest. Make your voices heard in multiple places. Encourage Horne to continue with his investigation. His phone number is 602-542-5025 or 800-352-8431; fax is 602-542-4085; or email [email protected]. http://www.azleg.gov/alisStaticPages/HowToContactMember.asp Click on "Senate" and then "House" to get all the names of people who represent you in the AZ legislature. But you have to know what district you are in. There is a provision for finding that on the web site as well. http://www.govtrack.us/congress/findyourreps.xpd?state=AZ Shows who our 2 US Senators are and all the of the reps in Congress and the district numbers. http://azgovernor.gov/contact.asp Governor Brewer's contact page. http://www.congress.org/bio/id/14132 Congress.org - Bio : Rep. Terri Proud (R-Arizona) biography Proud is critical of the commissio and would be a good contact person. http://azcapitoltimes.com/news/2011/07/21/attorney-general-tom-horne-announces-redistricting-commission-investigation/ Frank Antenori, an AZ legislator, is also critical of the Commission and would be a good person to contact: [email protected] http://arizonafreedomalliance.ning.com/group/watchingredistrictingairc good website and watchdog group for Arizona. Put in your favorites. Check frequently for updates. They do an excellent job for this state. Everyone needs to continue to keep themselves informed and take action and get others to as well. They make it difficult for working people to attend meetings and I am sure they do that by design. If you can't attend, send letters, emails faxes and make phone calls and urge others to do the same We are in a war that will continue into 2012 and beyond - the left is determined and sneaky. They'll stop at nothing to get their way. Get in the habit of staying informed and get involved if you are not already. Mary Seales Natural Born Citizen God Bless America Date: Tue, 4 Oct 2011 07:33:43 -0700 From: Subject: Fw: information on Liberals Redistricting AZ Ruth McClung To: All, See below for an update on the redistricting process. Whoever is/was in charge of this process hired Obama's campaign team to redistrict Arizona! The way it stands with the new districts thus far, Southern Arizona is unwinnable for Conservatives/Republicans. I can't believe this is happening! In 2010 the Republicans swept the AZ House and Senate and all Executive offices only to have a partisan hack make the state more liberal! The redistricting meetings are still going on. If you can, please attend and let your voice be known. Karen ----- Forwarded Message ----- From: "[email protected]" <[email protected]> To: Karen <Sent: Tuesday, October 4, 2011 3:35 AM Subject: Re: information on Liberals Redistricting AZ Ruth McClung Hi I am Ruths campaign manager Gini Crawford, Congressional districts in So AZ are looking harder than before for us to win!!! Both CDs have Dems in them now. They gave Rep. Grijalva exactly what he wanted...and it doesn't help old CD 8 or CD 2 Giffords area much from Republican standpoint since they put a lot of NW Pima a Rep. area in CD 1. Grijalvas district CD 3 at this point is un-winnable...they took ALL voting blocks that voted for Ruth out and added liberals...I don't know why I am so frustrated even mad because I/we knew we were in big trouble when they hired Obamas campaign company to map our state. It would not surprise me if Ben Q. is right!! I am not familiar with PHX to just look on the new congressional map to tell you. The commission seems to only be looking out for Dems. I feel the Reps on the board try but are outnumbered. Tom Horne is trying too. What to do? At this point go to AIRC meetings and let your ideas and wants be heard. I don't know if it really helps us but it puts our desires in the court record for lawsuits if they happen! Thank you!
