Thank you for your detailed response regarding the two RFC-reserved IPv4 address blocks that are claimed by both IANA and APNIC.
Undfortunately, although your response is quite certainly a facinating trip down memory lane, and through history, it does not appear to address the one question which a actually had: Are either APNIC or IANA going to stop claiming these blocks as their own in the relevant daily stats files so that I may remove the work- around code I had to implement in my own program(s) which attempt to analyze these daily stats files, and which, quite rightly become rather confused when two different entities are claiming the exact same blocks? I did not see any definitive answer to this basic question in your response. If I simply missed it, then I do apologize for that and will commit here and now to obtaining better reading glasses at my earliest opportunity.
