I actually have a follow on question about deleting completed tasks
that is based on John's first comment/question.

Here's the scenario. I have a non recurring task. I then mark it as
completed. It then shows up as completed when I scroll down to the
completed list. I have my completed tasks set for "Keep" setting at
"NONE". My expectation based on this NONE setting is that it would
not be kept and would be deleted at the point I mark it as completed.
Other settings I have are "completed tasks" set to "ON" and "Show"
completed tasks set to "One Day". But let's be clear, the "completed
tasks" on/off setting does not even make sense to me. I actually want
tasks to be deleted when I mark a task as completed and NO STORAGE of
the completed tasks given the settings I selected. Note, I see the
same results when I have a recurring task too. I have tested both
cased about 10 times each.

Please advise on what settings I can use such that completed tasks
would not be saved at all. I don't want them just hidden from
visibility, I want them deleted without me scrolling down to the
completed list and physically deleting each one. I am able to make it
so that completed tasks are not visible by setting "completed tasks"
to "OFF", then marking some tasks as completed, and then not seeing
them (i.e., they appear deleted). However, when I turn "completed
tasks" back to "ON" after that, those old completed tasks appear that
were not visible before. I just want them to auto-delete. Is there a
way to do this? Please help I have tried all combinations of settings
and cannot figure this out.
