There were a lot of comments that came in so I'll try to answer all of them
with one post.
The first release of Appigo Sync is going to be on Mac only and it
synchronizes over Wifi to the iCal data store. We are planning on also
releasing a Windows version that will synchronize over Wifi to Outlook. We
will begin a beta on the Windows version when it become available. As far
as the lists/tags/contexts in Outlook, that is still being worked out so I
don't have an answer as far as how it will sync into Outlook, but the data
will be preserved even if there is no way to surface it in Outlook.

As far as the iCal integration, we are syncing as much data about the tasks
into iCal as the iCal application can handle. That will include the tasks,
name, due date, notes, lists (as Calendars), etc. The additional
information that cannot be shown in iCal is also synced and maintained but
there will not be a way to manipulate it on the desktop initially. In other
words, if you created contexts and assign tasks to contexts in Todo, that
data will sync and be backed up just fine, but iCal will not show it or
allow you to make changes to the contexts. Any changes made in iCal will
sync back to Todo and it will not effect the context/tags, or additional
information in Todo.

In the long term, we plan on creating Todo for the desktop both for OS X and
Windows. We will use the same data store for tasks that we are using in
Appigo Sync, we'll just provide a new UI that will feel and operate similar
to the way Todo on the iPhone works. We don't have any dates yet for that
application. It will most likely be build for OS X first since the majority
of our users are Mac users but we plan on having a solution for Windows as
well. We have found that for Windows users, they either live in Outlook or
don't use it at all so we're still looking into how that might be done.

Todo 1.6 has been submitted to Apple and is in review. We expect the update
to be available any day and when that becomes available we'll post the
Appigo Sync Beta for Mac.

If you have already purchased Todo, you can go into the Information screen
in settings and register with us to be notified of the update by email. You
can also follow us on our Twitter feed: http://twitter.com/appigo

We'll of course post a message here as well.

Thanks for all of the support and interest. It was great to meet a number
of your at Macworld!
