Regarding the manual sorting of tasks in a list, this is something we are experimenting with and intend to add into one of our future updates of Todo.
With the focus list, could you attach a screenshot of how your focus list is configured (press and hold your power and home button simultaneously and your screenshot will be placed in your Photos)? We haven't been able to reproduce the scenario you've described. Depending on how your focus list is set up, your task may fall within the time frame defined. The screenshot we've attached shows how you would prevent tasks due after tomorrow to not appear in the focus list. If you change the due date of a task to be outside of that range, it will no longer show inside the focus list. Hope this helps and we're looking forward to hearing back from you.
